Receiving Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders can be stressful and exciting if those orders bring you to the state of Wisconsin; welcome! Wisconsin is a midwest-friendly state known for its four distinct seasons and urban and rural communities. Water is a big part of our culture. Surrounded by Great Lakes Michigan and Superior and the Mississippi River, we are also home to over 15,000 lakes. You will find a glacier-carved landscape, hardworking business culture, and welcoming main streets. While we get teased a bit about our reputation for good beer and great cheese, we’re proud of both and looking forward to sharing it all with you.
The Military.com site features resources for service personnel and veterans preparing for a PCS move, including an article with 5 Things to Do When You Get PCS Orders.
